Enjoy Family Fun Activities at The Lifestyle Center

The multi-purpose gymnasium at The Lifestyle Center has been designed to accommodate a wide range of scheduled and free-play activities such as indoor volleyball, basketball, and a variety of children’s activities. Use of the gymnasium is included with your membership. However, there are several leagues and activities scheduled throughout every season which could limit utilization during specified times. Prior notification for reserved or scheduled activities will be posted in advance.

Gymnasium Etiquette

We ask that our members please observe the following guidelines while in the gymnasium. Please note that all of The Lifestyle Center facility rules of conduct are applicable and enforceable in all areas.

Please be courteous to other members at The Lifestyle Center by adhering to the following rules:

  • Horseplay will not be tolerated
  • Athletic shoes (non-marking soles) must be worn at all times. No open toed shoes
  • Shirts must be worn at all times
  • Profanity, improper behavior, intoxication, and vulgarity are not permitted
  • Any fighting will immediately result in automatic dismissal from the facility
  • Spitting is not permitted
  • Chewing gum is not permitted
  • An adult must accompany children under 16 years of age unless participating in an organized youth program
  • No outside music or food is allowed

Gymnasium Activity Descriptions

Unless otherwise indicated, activities listed are for individuals age 12 and up. Children ages 12 – 15 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Activities in our multi-purpose gymnasium include:

  • B-Ball Pick-Up Games: 4-on-4 basketball games played to 15 points or 12 minutes. Games will be scored by 2’s and 3’s. Participants must be at least 12 years and older, with those ages 12 – 15 requiring adult supervision at all times
  • Adult Pick-Up B-Ball: 4-on-4 basketball games played to 15 points or 12 minutes. Games will be scored by 2’s and 3’s. Participants must be 16 or older to play. Games will only be supervised from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m., however, pick-up games can be played until 10:30 p.m.
  • Family Shoot Around: Enjoy fun for the whole family during this period when children 5 years and up can shoot hoops with their families. Kids ages 5 – 15 must be supervised by an adult at all times
  • Kids Night Out: Kids ages 5 – 12 can enjoy a variety of fun activities and games. Activities take place from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in the gymnasium on the third Friday of each month
  • Kidz Klub: Kids ages 5 – 12 can enjoy a variety of fun activities and games Monday – Thursday from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Beginning Volleyball: New to the game of volleyball? Come enjoy casual games designed for the absolute beginner on Thursday nights from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. No training necessary
  • Intermediate Volleyball: For those with limited volleyball experience, come enjoy games every Tuesday night from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and Thursday night from 8:00 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.
  • Advanced Volleyball: Up your volleyball game on Tuesday nights from 7:30 p.m. – 10:45 p.m. These events are designed for players who are currently on competitive teams
  • Open Play Volleyball: Get the whole family together for some volleyball fun for anyone ages 12 and up. Kids ages 12 – 15 need adult supervision at all times. A minimum of 4 players is required for volleyball nets to be set up
  • Indoor Soccer: 4-on-4 soccer games will be played to 3 points or for 15 minutes. Participants must be 16 or older to play, and conventional indoor soccer rules apply with no slide tackling. Games are available every second and fourth Friday from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and will be supervised from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Please see facility for additional rules
  • Tots in Training: Help your child develop basic motor skills and coordination while interacting with peers during this 4-week introductory program for kids ages 2 – 4 years old. Classes are offered seasonally on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.
