The Aquatic Department at The Lifestyle Center is among the best in the valley. We offer a full range of swim lessons for children and adults throughout the entire year, and help with technique so swimmers can have the confidence they need to glide through the water. With one of the area’s most comprehensive swim training programs, your child will learn the fundamentals and techniques of swimming from the city’s finest instructors.

Classes Available

Group Swim Lessons (LTS – Learn To Swim): For ages 6 months – 10 years, these classes at The Lifestyle Center provide comprehensive, structured swim education programs for all skill levels. Each participant is independently screened and placed in the appropriate class according to age and skill level. Your child will be given two weeks of fun and engaging lessons with Visalia’s finest certified instructors. Call (559) 624-3421 for more information and child placement.

Parents & Pollywogs: This 3-week class provides an introduction to basic swimming skills and water safety for children ages 6 months – 2 years. Parents must attend with their child and be in the water with them at all times. Pre-registration for these classes is required, and space is limited. Semi-Private Group Sessions: These classes are available for groups of at least three participants ages 6 months and up, and can be scheduled all year round. Each block includes six 30-minute sessions. Please call (559) 624-3421 for availability.

Private Swim Lessons: The Lifestyle Center offers one-on-one instruction with a certified instructor all year round. Participants must be at least 6 months old, and each block will include six 30-minute sessions. Please call (559) 624-3421 for availability.

STP (Swim Team Prep): For swimmers ages 6 – 14 interested in competitive swimming, we offer more intensive training. Participants must first be evaluated and prove they can swim the entire length of the pool unassisted. Registration and program fees are required for this class.
